Gift Basket Canada was born in 2008 from the aggravation of finding a present for our mother’s birthday. After sending flowers for many years in a row we decided that this year we would do something a bit different. Since we live in different cities, we needed something that we could order online and have sent to her. So we searched for a suitable gift basket company that could deliver directly to her. After a couple hours of searching we realized that it would be a bit difficult to find a reputable gift basket company in our area that had something in her style. We didn’t have much time, so we just settled on something quickly and had it delivered to her for the next week.
After this experience we realized that there was definitely a demand for a new gift basket company with lots of variety and great prices.
In 2008, while still in college we launched our gift basket company and began to sell our products. After a few years of continual success we finally launched our online website in 2010 fulfilling hundreds of orders a week across Canada.
